Elana Shpall is an artist, maker, and doctor. She uses art to communicate her experience of the world. Recurring themes in her work include repurposing of found objects, honoring loved ones, and making visible the human body’s internal beauty. Her art has won awards, been replicated in calendars and holiday cards, and, most recently, was published in The Journal of American Medical Association (“JAMA”) Internal Medicine with her “Deprescription Mosaic.”
